Box-score takes and betting lines do not tell you how a rating should move after a road back-to-back or a blowout against a weak bench.
Python pipeline that pulls games, updates Elo, and outputs a pick with the rating delta. The point was to see the algorithm, not to hide it behind a score.
A working predictor and a clearer sense of which games the model should not be trusted on. Code is public.
