Bio
I'm Abdillahi. I live in Canada, where I work as a software engineer.
I got into programming because I loved solving problems and building things. When I was younger I was always curious about how systems worked and how they could be better. Early projects went unfinished. The itch stayed.
After school I started shipping for real. I've built tools that millions of people use, worked at startups in biotech and fintech, and started my own projects: Portio, DuaLink, EloHoops, and whatever is open on my machine this week. Programming is still the most powerful tool I know: if you can imagine it, you can usually build it.
I keep learning. I've gotten back into writing too, essays and reflections on how we think and choose. You can read them here. If you want to build something together or just connect, reach out.
